Blog #3: Rants and Realizations

Yesterday, I overdid it on the drinking me thinks. never in my life have I ever had a headache as big enough as I did. drink responsibly if you are a sociable drinker in general.

For anyone who works in healthcare, you will have breakdowns, you will be stressed, you will have times where you want to quit the profession altogether. Covid19 and other situations these days has played a role towards everyone's life in some way.

Which leads to this small rant to address about some people who are shady and friendships that has a timer on it or benefits their own personal narratives.

The true meaning of friendship is: Someone who is a true friend stands up for you. When others try to hurt you emotionally or physically, they do everything they can to make sure you stay safe. They don't care who is trying to harm you; they will defend you anytime, anywhere. If they can help you, they'll do it without reservation or reward.

Pretty simple right? however, friendship also is in some form a "relationship between friends" which means its mutual, it can at times show emotion, bonding, being each other's equal and so forth.

Some qualities of a True friend are: respect, love, thoughtful, forgiveness, always being there no matter what and the most important one, honesty.

Sometimes friends lie or hide things just to protect your feelings. sure, maybe if it had something to do with "I love the latest dress you purchased" even though it looks really ugly or "hey I love that new dish you made for dinner, it taste delicious" even if it taste like sadness.

But when you lead someone on and play along to say things that will never happen or just tell blatant lies just to fulfill your own personal narratives or simply using, then refusing a friend after you have no use for that said friend is not only fake as hell, but an embarrassment to other people who are not on that road.

Personal gain and selfishness, some people do it just to make themselves feel better to fuel their own ‘false’ ego of protection, to even avoiding shame, guilt, culpability, responsibility and the truth.

Whatever the excuse may be, remember this quote: "Trust starts with truth and ends with truth."

That means if you want a friendship, relationship, hell even a marriage to thrive, then the truth needs to start at the beginning and at the end. it cannot work partially.

So to those who are known to hide things, to lie on purpose or to do any shady harmful things to people just for the hell of it, ask yourself this? is it worth it?

Imagine living with yourself portraying someone as this genuine, honest and true person from the outside, but a deceiving, manipulating, fraud on the inside. I don't have bad wishes for those kind of people, but they are an embarrassment as a whole and they should kindly fuck off. :)

Not going to name this individual, but you didn't win. nice try though, because in order to knock me down, you would have to be on the same level as me. sadly you are not even close on the level below me.

As for my true friends (both online and in person) that stayed with me since the beginning, thank you for always sticking with me no matter what. those who told me not to worry about other simple minded fraudulent individuals, you are right. my time should only be fully invested on people that matters, who are genuine and positive.

So with that being said, its the weekend. 3 days a week I am able to cheat and eat junk food starting on Friday. its a goal for myself in order not to have cancer anymore by eating healthier foods more often then I did before. but today I am making homemade loaded nachos with enough as leftovers for Sunday.
