Blog #5: Fingers crossed for no more cold weather/technology sucks! lol.

Bitter cold was so, wow! but it least it wasn't the same kind of situation we had in winter of 2021. other than that, it wasn't bad at all.

I return to my other home tomorrow evening since I work on hump day and on Thursday. which I will be glad to get on my desktop because this happened over the weekend.

My laptop's fan decided to break into pieces, so I had to order me a new one because of it. which gets delivered Thursday or Friday.

Got an ASUS TUF Gaming F15 FX506LH - Intel Core i5 10300H/16 GB ram/1tb sdd/144Hz monitor/4GB GTX 1650ti. you can put 3 drives on this thing and it has military grade real world durability.

Totally better then what I was expecting because it has hyperthreading (which my dell don't have, rip extra performance) and uses the newer technologies in both the cpu and gpu. plus it has a 144hz monitor! it even has an Anti-Dust Self-Cleaning System, like wtf? lol huge win there!

This dell inspiron 15 7567 I'm using now, meh. its okay, but you know how dell is when it comes to their gaming laptops. they set limitations and all of that junk, but I will still use it as a daily laptop for 3dx and even for some gaming since the 1050 ti is still just enough for 1080p gaming.

The odd part about it, since I removed the broken fan altogether. the computer is now cooler with one fan then it was with both fans, not sure how that is even possible, maybe ventilation.

Huge tip for laptop gamers in general, DO NOT GET DELL lol. there is so many brands better then it. asus is one, hp, maybe even msi.

No drama to report thank goodness. but it has been an odd and stressful week. sometimes technology sucks! lol.
